Step 3 - Accept Orders Online
The time has come to put your Impulse
store online and start accepting orders. The first thing you
need to do is get set up with a Partially Sane Impulse account.
You can do that by visiting this
page, and adding either a year or a month of service to
your shopping cart, then checking out through PayPal, or you
can contact our
sales department and arrange for an alternate method of
payment and immediate account setup.
The
Impulse service
is charged at $10/month or $100/year, and that includes e-mail
order notification and confirmation, integration with real-time
credit card processors, PGP encryption, and support for technical
problems with the e-commerce functionality. If this is your
first account with us, there is also a $35 setup fee.
Once you have received your account setup e-mail, you're
ready to go. Use Impulse to upload your site, and you're ready
to start accepting e-mail orders! It's that easy.
Well, now your Impulse eStore is online and you are accepting
orders. However, there are plenty of other options that will
enhance your customers' experience (and yours) that you can
add as your store grows--real-time credit card processing,
web hosting packages, and more. We cover those in Step
4 - Grow your eBusiness.
